Replacing the RCC A1 with the RCC A2

Hey. I have a Peugeot 208 model year 2017. The car does not have a Navigator or a mirrorlink. My unit model is the RCC A1.

I would like to have a built-in gps in my car. Does the RCC A2 have a built-in GPS or does it only have a mirrorlink and an android car?

Can the unit be replaced using the plug and play method? Apparently after installation the unit needs to be coded? Or does the unit work without coding at all?

Has anyone replaced from RCC A1 to RCC A2?

RCC is made by Bosch and is non satnav
You need NAC model made by continental.

Mine is the RCC and I just use my phone connected to the RCC via USB with Andoid Auto and Google maps. It just works

I have RCC A2 on my 2017. It does not have satnav, only Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

Kam ndryshuar rcc a1 në rcc a2 për peugeot 208, por rcc a2 e kam marrë në një makinë citroen c3 dhe pasi kam koduar kodin VIN eliminoi sinjalin e bipit por nuk i di opsionet e makinës time tani. a mund ta kalibroni ??

Unë dua të kalibroj një rcc a2 që kam hequr nga një makinë Citroen C3 aircross dhe ta kalibroj për makinën time Peugeot 208 2018 . Mund të bëni atë? sa kushton?

Hi

There is no gps mirror link in my car. If I think correctly, there is an RCC A1 unit in the car. If I manage to buy an A2 version, will those features work? Thanks for the reply.

Vielen Dank. Mein Auto ist ein Peugeot 2008 (2018) und das Gerät, das ich gekauft habe, war ein Peugeot 208. Könnte es ein Problem geben? Worauf ist bei der Installation zu achten? Fahrgestellnummer?

First of all, you do not have a SMEG, you have got a RCC System

. And yes, it is possible to change your current RCC A1 into a RCC A2 with Carplay.

Hey there, i have been reading your discussion about the RCC A1/A2 systems and i was wondering if you could help me out with my situation. My car (Peugeot 208 2018 model) does not have Android Auto or Apple carplay as an option and i dont know how to find out the RCC version that i have without disassembling the screen (afraid i might break it!). Do you know why i dont have neither of them as an option and is there any way to know which version of RCC do i have?

These are my systems' information:

System version: 076D
HMI version: 21.616.53.17.02
iMX vresion: x0101189_190624_16.1B116.4 (seems to be the latest update)
V850 vresion: W2.1_16.1S723.1

Hi Alhambra82, can you help me? I have citroen c4 cactus 2018 with rcc a1 unit and would like android auto and apple carplay. If I'm not mistaken, these are rcc a2 or a1 wave3 units. Ideally I would like to buy this unit already set up if you have it in stock. Alternatively, please advise if unit 983350080 from an Opel/Vauxhall car can be used? Thank you very much for the information.
