Replace peugeot 508 gear knob

Hi. I'm hoping this group will be able to help with my quick query! I have a 2.0 2011 Peugeot 508sw Allure (six speed manual), can anyone advise how to remove and replace the gear knob? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm guessing it pulls off but you have to pull hard. Gearlever looks the same as my old Citroen C5 and that knob pulled off

Thanks. From reading online many other smaller peugeots (20.., 30.., etc) simply pull and twist off. I tried that, maybe I simply didn't pull hard enough!
