Lol i think that's a question best served on the vauxhall forum! It'll be different diagnostics and a different setup to Peugeot .

Doesn't the Vauxhall DPF/regen work different to Peugeot.... thought I've read somewhere that they use the system of squirting a little diesel into the exhaust every now and then in order to get it to burn?

you will have to check to make sure the EGR isnt electronically controlled by the ECU - makes the job alot harder.

Google map a specialist EGR DPF Removal garage in your area, these places are usually tuning shops (ECU Re-map) and as mentioned here already when you remove the physical EGR Valve unit and DPF Material the cars Ecu needs to be amended to say that it no longer receives or signals the EGR or DPF sensors, With the re-map the ECU will be adjusted to all the differences made to the engine now that the add on components are removed, so no more EGR error codes, soot boosted into your engine and turbo, and a quicker smoother output from the manifold end too, its said that emissions can actually improve, I know your BHP will!

Get your blanking plate off of that online auction site, no more than a tenner, make sure you get one with a gasket too.

Total job cost should be about £499

I am also on the Vectra-C forum and there is a wealth of info on there about the 1.9 CDTi engine and also 3 mappers that dont charge silly money.

I blanked my egr with a plate and bashed the insides out of my DPF and one of the forum mappers mapped it for £200 at a remapping day I organized where we had a meet up and he spent the day live mapping cars.
