Hi.

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, I cannot find it. I've searched for registration plate, rear plate bulb etc.

I've purchased a new rear bulb unit from the dealer - only cost £3.86. This comprises of the bulb, lens and entire unit. I cannot figure how to remove the old one, without having to take the boot apart?

Anyone have any advice, please?

Yes, and it's useless. Goes on about how to replace a bulb, not the unit. I followed the instructions and then cracked the lens cover, hence need for the replacement unit.

Looking at the tabs on the ends looks like there would be screws holding it. So yes I would say you would have to strip the inside of the boot. I will have a look on service box for you and get back to you PM your vin number.
