Hi all,

Just bought a 307sw se 1.6d 2007.

The rear side light bulbs keep blowing! Two bulbs are needed on each side. I've changed 4 bulbs in the last 2 weeks and one blew only a few hours after changing.

I have checked all wires and connectors and cleaned but no change.

Any help please?

Can't you try slightly higher wattage bulbs? Not sure if that'll affect warning systems?
Or make sure you don't touch them with greasy fingers.
Failing that are they getting some sort of spike maybe clean the cluster contacts.

No water leaking. Clusters are clean. Fingers are not greasy. I read on Honest John that this model eats bulbs too. I don't think these bulbs are cheap, but could be...
I know there wouldn't be any warning for higher watt bulbs, but i dont know if i can find any higher watt's anyway. I did look into this before as i wanted to change the very poor, and only ONE reverse light bulb!!?

I'd take two good reversing lights over parking sensors any day!

Usually when bulbs blow often, it's a sign the battery could be expiring...

Cheers everyone
