Jumped in the car this evening, for some reason it feels like the car is dragging, like the breaks are on??

I think one of the rear calipers is marginally hotter than the other, but it also has a slight smell too.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Anyone know if a fresh set of disks and pads will sort this out ??

Check handbrake cable and that the cable levers fully return. Other than that may need to check it has not seized changing disks and pads will not often not fix a sticking/seized caliper.

Mine did this once or twice when I bought it.

All I did was strip the rear down, clean up and re-lube pad backs etc, using a wind back tool wind the piston back in (bleed nipple open) then pump the pedal once re-assembled.

Topped up fluid as indicated (not always required) and its been fine ever since.

Is there a spicific tool needed to turn the piston?

My old 206 gti just needed a flat head screwdriver.

I'm hoping to get the car in the air after work and see what I can find.

The hand break is working as it should.

Just have to wait and see.
