Please could anyone tell me how I am able to identify which type of rear brake discs I have? I have been reading that there are 2 types. My 307HDi is on a 53 plate.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi are you after if they are disk or drum brakes?. If you go to halfords they normally have a list in the brake pad section , just look up your car and year and they should have the type to use, or go to a dealer or the counter with your reg number and ask them for some back brake , they should ask for the reg number and should be able to get everything from your reg number?

There are two main makes, Lucas and Bosch. If you look at the caliper the Lucas ones do not have any visible name whereas the Bosch calipers have the name Bosch cast into the caliper.

There are bearing type and non bearing type, i find it easier to take the wheel and calliper off and look, or 04 is non bearing and the 06 was bearing, not sure if its age related or when Peugeot feel like it mind.
