Got an ABS fault on the right rear. But when I had a look the discs are quite rusted up around the edges and with the MOT due I should probably replace.

Just a question though does anyone know the size of the bolts to undo the caliper and the two allen key bolts?

Will the rear caliper compress easily or do I need a special tool?

Thanks

Thanks I think its number 9 that holds on the carrier assembly so 8mm

I read that I need 13mm socket and 15mm spanner to take off caliper

The only question is will the caliper compress without a rewind tool

I have the tool it make life easier but before i got it i used big adjustable pliers and a big flat end screw driver but if the piston is too tight you'll be stuck, you may be able to use big adjustable pliers and mole grips to turn the piston and wind it in but it is a fiddle.
Check the direction too, also ppl have said to gently clamp the flexi (don't damage it) and undo bleed nipple as have read it can damage seals/master cylinder if you flush manky brake fluid back through the system.
I have never personally had this but i always bleed fresh fluid through when working on brakes.

Thanks the allen key bolts turned out to be hex

T50 for the carrier and T27 for the Disc

But if you want to undo the ABS sensor that is an allen key and a size I dont have :)
