Hi gentlemenz,

I have a box on my Discovery td5 that works OK. It's from PSI Motorsports, and feels like it's good for about 20hp. They don't make one for my Citroen though.

We also have a 2013 Berlingo 1.6L hdi 110 4x4 in the family. At 40mpg I tend to drive it a lot more than the Disco. So me little reptile accelerator brain started thinking about getting it more power. Poking around here in this forum, I see big studs like John recommending a re-map instead of a box. Strenuously.

Can anybody explain why, and where the devil does one buy a re-map? I like the box in that I can take it with me when I sell the car. We live in France, btw.

You can buy good boxes, but the generic cheap ones on ebay dont do anything and are possibly a £20 plecebo effect.

Where as you get the car on a rolling road and decent remap you get the most of what you want.

To get a remap, find a local tuner. or you can try bluefin
