hello,

im having an issue with the radio in my 206 cc it works fine playing a cd when the ignition is off, but if i turn the radio off and then turn the radio back on with the ignition on the cd just stays paused where it origionally was, ive had a look at the wiring at the radio connection side that all looks fine, ive taken off the front and looked at the connections there also with no joy, but the radio does continue to play the cd if i leave the radio on turn te ignition on and skip a track.... has anyone had a simular issue or knows what i can do to solve it!!

thanks Ang:thumb:

Is it the original radio or aftermarket?

Just looking at what you've described, I'd go for an earthing problem somewhere on the iginition circuit - just something mild, a bit of oxidisation or a slightly loose connection.

To be honest it sounds like a problem with the radio itself to me!

Wiring cant do that, possibly a fault with the radio's internal software!?

it sounds like an issue with the built in firmware, only manufacturers can deal with that gen.

but has it always done this, or has it done what your after? if so, what happened since, such as a visit to the dealers? etc
