Check the relays, fan and fan wiring.

I'd guess at the relays - possibly dirt and grime ingress on the contacts. Seen this issue on a few 307s over the years.

I have located radiator resistor fan relay and seen its little corrusion on its parts...

But i can't locate other relays which are related to fan... could u please give any advise?

 

I have replaced Cooling fan relay resistor , and use Diagbox 9.129 and 9.68 but can't delete the fault codes ?

1. I get Engine fault Repair needed asap i turn ignition on with new Cooling fan resistor.

2. with old cooling fan relay resistor i only got engine repair needed when i turn AC on.

I have also tested to remove connectors from Cooling fan relay resistor but i still get same fault codes with diag?

Anyone can help me to identify the faults please?

From the codes you have it seems relay is stuck open and thats draining your battery.

So far i have been able to clear all the codes but P0494 62 Fan assembly , P0692 13 Low speed fan unit and P0693 13 High speed fan assembly is left despite i have replaced cooling fan relay .

Can you help where the other relays are located ?

I do need help to diagnose the last piece of my problem...

As mentioned before my radiator fan was running on full despite motor off until it drained the battery!

When i use the new resistor i get 3 faults.. P0693 , p0494 and p0495

With old resistor i only got 1 fault P0495 when i use AC ! If im not using ac the fault seems not to show up!

1. I got Diagbox ODB and use v9.91 when i do test my radiator fan high speed fails, it just starts the fan for some seconds than stops it and give me message that test was failed to run .


2. I have tryed to connect radiator fan directly to 12V and it runs on full without visible problems!

What can be wrong ? have i ordered wrong resistor type ? is it the fan which is problem ? What are the most common problems for P0495?
