I have a 308 1.6 petrol with 73k on the clock. Recently have the oil stem valve seals and timing chain changed. Since then when it's been cold on a morning the car has started up fine but when coming to the junction at the send of my street the engine has cut out. I then start the car up again and it does the same at the next junction. Then after that the car is fine. There has been no warning lights on the dash. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance

If it has done it since the chain change etc. I would check if they reset the adaptives when they did the work

They are the values that the ECU learns from normal driving that it uses to adapt the standard values to your engine for smooth running etc.

If you have had a valve timing fault etc the ECU learns new values to try and keep engine running correctly. When you fix the fault the values are then incorrect and engine can stall etc until it relearns new values of they are reset

It's been in the garage and it's showing fault code 0014 exhaust camshaft dephasing sensor. Can see this being expensive
