Programming "virgin" 207 key fob

Hi all.

My girlfriend recently bought a used 207 from a small dealership. The car came without a keyfob and has an aftermarket transponder key.

After some research (mostly on this forum :thumb:) I have purchased a keyfob with blank key and "virgin" circuit board off eBay. From what I read on this forum I will need the key/immobiliser code (we will either find the card or contact bettyswollocks), the blank cut and the key programmed. Is this correct?

When the key is programmed, is the car programmed to the key or the key programmed to the car? The impression I get is that it's the former.

I have looked at the Peugeot Planet map thread and if all is correct, I hope one of the guys will help sort it out. If it's of any interest, I'm in the home counties. Hopefully someone will be able to help out!

Cheers in advance for any answers.
