Hello everyone.

I have a 58 plate 1.6hdi.
I have had loads of problems with the anti pollution filter and after getting that sorted and having new pipe work fitted I am now having problems with the tickover. The car is on low revs and keeps cutting out on me even when I stop at a junction for example it will cut out.It is below 1000 revs on the counter. Is there a way I can get a competent relative to increase the revs for me without having to try and book it into a garage and avoid another large bill?

You need a diagnostic really you could try loads of things but that would mean throwing money at it.

A quick test do a bsi reset
Then drive it with the maf disconnected

You say you have new pipes what work was actually done

I have had the pipes going up from the exhaust to the manifold. There was several holes in the system and that was causing the anti pollution fault to show up. The car doesn't seem to be breathing right.
