Hi, I bought a used 2011 307 1.4 petrol a month ago with just under 25000 miles on the clock form a peugeot dealer. Since having the car I have had to take it back twice now with a few bits needed doing like the doors not lining up correctly, radio not working which flattened the battery, and it rattles underneath. They told me it needs a back box exhaust, the doors need to be done by the bodywork dept. I did notice after buying the car it has had replacement set of tyres fitted. I ask you for advice does this type of car normally have these faults from a so called genuine miles to have a new back box and at some point new tyres.

All depends how and where its been driven. Three years is about average for a back box.

Is it even a genuine part or did the previous owner damage the original and put on a cheapo one?

That's the luck of the game with second hand cars, and any trader will just give it the most cursory of inspections before re-selling.
