HI

Do you still have the fuel filter warning message?

I was not aware there was a fuel filer DIRTY warning - but there is a sensor to detect water in the filter.

When you drained the filter - what came out - fuel or water?

I suggest you use the hand priming pump and keep pumping until you see fuel in the clear plastic pipe that is adjacent to the hand pump.

I think you just need to keep pumping!

Assuming there is fuel in the tank, and all fuel line connections are nipped up tight, there is nothing to stop this working. If there is an air leak, then pumping by hand will never work, so suggest you have another check.

I cannot remember on that engine - do you rotate the hand pump 90 degrees before using it?

I assume you are pumping it with the ignition switched off?
