I have a Peugeot 307HDY type VF3CRHY 2001mod.
I bought it broken, so I have to fix it.
From the start, there was no electrical connection in my dash, no lights at all. Battery full.
Tried to change the BSI. Then I got electrical connection, and the engine was going around, but it didn't start. Do I have to change ECU as well ?

Anybody had this problem before?
Thanks for help.

BSI, ECU and transponder in key all work in synch. If you change the bsi, either change them all together or have the ecu unlocked.
If I take an BSI and the transponder in key from any peugeot 307, then add an ECU that is unlocked, with same number "5WS40020H-T" will this work ?

You need a matched set from the same car AND THE SPEEDO cluster or your mileage will change it already will have as you have fitted a different BSI already !

307s are very fussy and the cars spec is best to match too as if your heating system for example differs to the doner even this can cause issues !!

You need to do lots more reading before fitting anything else.
