Hey hey, I have a Peugeot 307 that won't start. The problem began when I was driving up a hill and the car started to shut down. I managed to drive home, but the car would only drive below 30 mph (maybe something wrong with the ESP?) After I parked the car, the engine would start, but I can`t drive the car forward. And in the control panel it shows "engine fault, Rapair needed", and the lamps for ESP are "blinking", and the lamp for Malfunction indica-tor light (MIL) is "blinking. Do you guys have any suggestions about what's wrong with my car?

ESP is a different thing entirely although it is connected to the engine ecu it does not control it at least not to the extent of stopping the car going you most likely have a wiring issue bad earth most likely confusing the other systems but there are many possible reasons.

The esp is not happy BECAUSE of the engine not running right ignore it concentrate on the engine running issue
