hi guys have been hovering in the background for a while absorbing all the helpful hints and information you so gladly give, and now i have a problem of my own i must ask you all.....
I've a pug 307 sw se hdi 2.0 (2003) that recently failed the MOT due to headlights being at the wrong level and nearside adjuster not working, I have fixed the adjuster but the offside lights are still low, they raise up and down but far to low so i tried to adjust manually...... and this is where my problem stands, it's not working :-/ can anybody advise a way around/ to correct this or am i looking at a whole new headlamp?
many many thanks in advance :)

Define: Not working

There's a screw on top of the unit, hexagonal shape if i remember correctly.
You need to twist it to adjust the headlight level.

The headlight leveling are not of raising the level, only to lower (in case of heavy weight in the back of the car). Put the dial in the upper most position, and calibrate the headlights.
