so im looking at buying a 307 2.0 xsi hdi

the only obvious problem on it is the anti pollution warning on the mfd

car still runs fine etc . now the guy selling said he can have the fault sorted for 100£ on top of the price of the car,

any one with this car give me any advice on what to look for??

thanks

Not sure on what to look out for but I would not even look at a car with an anti pollution error on the dash as reading the posts on here it could be anything form a fuel filter to something massive that may rear its ugly head again

Same here.

A seller who can't be bothered to fix a fault before selling probably couldn't be bothered to keep it in a good condition in the first place.

And he's probably had the fault checked, found its going to cost a lot so is getting shut.

If you really do fancy it then at least get a diagnostic check from one of us to find out what the fault actually is:

I did this with a 407 and haggled a massive discount because of it's faults, which I was happy to fix.
