I have been away all week towing my caravan, came home and whilst reversing it onto my drive (uphill) I burnt the clutch a little, I though nothing of of it but the next day driving around I noticed the revs jump up when in 3rd and 4th (by about 300-400 revs) when the turbo kicks in, only when stressing the engine on hills. I started to get a little worried that my clutch might be on the way out.

Since that day it hasn't slipped again(and it wasn't doing it all the time), could this just be down to the clutch bedding back in after being burnt, or is it signs that my clutch is wearing low or my DMF is starting to go?

Many Thanks.

Sounds just like a clutch slipping/wearing would say without towing could last another 5000 miles driven easy,or just wait till it gets worse and change.
