Hi, new user here and I don't own a Peugeot, however my mother does.
She has a 307 SW 2.0 diesel and it failed the MOT on a dash light being on, it was to do with the additive/de-pollution tank, I filled it up and hooked up to the ODB to reset it, but I couldn't communicate with the ECU, after a lot of guess work and a thread from these forums it turned out it was just a bloody mucky fuse! (I also cleaned all the others while I was at it, and some connectors cleaned/reseated)
So I got it through the MOT but occasionally it wouldn't start first time, I put it down to the battery as the car had been stood a few months (pulled it and fully charged it), and then it got a dash warning, 'Electronic anti-theft faulty' So it looks like in fixing one thing I've upset another.
It won't start on first turn, but will if tried again, but is acting up a little more now, does anyone have an idea for me as she can't afford a 'specialist' to diagnose for her atm (pensioner).
Any help no matter how insignificant it may seem will be much appreciated!
Oh yeah, the additive issue came back too
