Hello,

I am hoping for some advice please. Recently my peugeot expert E7 2.0 HDI while driving (only once at first) splutters (as if you turn the ignition key off then straight back on) like cuts out and straight back on.

Now after a few days of that problem getting more and more it will start first time every time and run perfectly and can be revved and hear the turbo whistle, but when you try to drive it feels like you have kangaroo juice in it.

Some one mentioned in peugeot that it sounds like a high pressure fuel rail / sensor problem.

EGR Blanked off has been for last 6 years so ruled that out.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks Pete

I had a similar problem a while back and it turned out to be the plug onto the crank sensor Does the tacho drop to zero when this happens?. In my case the plug and contacts were cleaned and has ran fine ever since. Worth a shot :)

I have checked the above unless its a break in the wire leading to these i will soon find out , it's gone in shame to my peugeot specialist today who helped last time when I had a turbo problem .. That turned out to be a faulty connector leading to one of the vacuum solenoids. Thanks for the replies will post the cure once I get it back
