Hi, I have an 807 2.2 HDI with the dreaded "check engine lit up.... On an OBD2 scanner it says P0026 which means, or supposed to mean, Intake valve control solenoid fault. Have used three different scanners and all read the same but can't find the solenoid or the problem.
Contacted two local Peugeot dealers to ask about the error code and Both said "no such error code for that car!"

Is this true or just a joke? or what could it mean anyone please?

Hi Windy.... Thanks for the advice. I did take that off and gave it a clean a week ago but didn't seem to do anything. Flaps moved ok apart from a small resistance on one. It does feel like air starvation on putting the boot down. How do you test it? Electric ohmmeter test?
Regards

You need to check the electrovalve/solenoid basic check is to unplug it and see if code changes
