It's look like you software needs to be reinstalled, plus you can connect car into Peugeot Planet and check for errors. But Im more then sure that that is the problem with software or simply your cable has been loose and you have to check this as well.

Hi i just pluged ib the update cd version 6.52 this one has been since i have the car.The cd comes strait out with no errors or to display something just comes out.

It is not so simple to reinstall your software as you thing.
Putting only CD will not make it happened. I will tell you tomorrow how to force system to reinstall, as I don't have time now.
Where you got this software from, are you sure that this is 100% working and secure version?

Hi and thank you for your time. When i have bought tbe car the sat nav cd was mising and i have ordered one from peugeot and they said to me that i will have and an update cd with it. So the sat nav is fronm Navteq and software from Magnet Marelli. Version 490. Telematic System. Until 3 month ago was fine but now it can get anoing . It happens when i start the car for the firs time on the day after 30 min. or so its working normally . I have taken the cable problem out of my vision as i do not think it is the problem.

If that was me, I would start from reinstalling software to make sure that this problem is not a software issue and then if this wouldn’t help start to looking for hardware issue. As there are no more then two options (software or hardware).

To force unit to reinstall the software you have to put CD into drive and press and keep dark button for about 15-30 sec. Screen should restart itself and after that you should see loading bar on the screen (of course relies “dark button”). Cd will eject for a couple times (three or four times) don’t touch it let it do the job. Wait till CD stop ejecting and no more noise will come from reading unit. Then your re installation is ready.

But it's up to you if you do this or not

 

Sorry mate its no use. I have tried everithing as you have said and nothing i think the car its against me. I have been downloading pp2000 but i am waiting for a keygen its hard to find one. And i hope i can sort it out. If you have otber thinks to help me please let me know.

This is first time when re installation don't want to go (unless you manage to re instal and still have same problem after??)
