Hi. My 407SW speedometer unit in the dashboard has died (no lights, no digits, no text. The speedo needle itself is working though). I've found a dirt cheap replacement unit from a wrecked 407, and was hoping to do the replacement myself and fix this as its annoying.

Any tips or thoughts on how to best do this? Or should prepare to break the bank and call the local Peugeot dealer for an appointment?

Thanks for any tips in advance!

Clip it out on top. Don't use a secondhand unit. Your car will take its mileage.

Aahh, I didnt realize that. Thanks! Thought it would be okay to use a secondhand unit since the numbers&text displayed are digital.

But if I get a new one, and do it myself will it get the right milage?
