Hi all, i did the heater flap repair on my 407.
In the process i broke the connector which joins the wiring to the knee airbag. This caused n airbag fult to manifest itself on the dash
At the time i was just glad of the heat. I connected the wires back up and put a blob of heat gun glue to hold them in place. Still a fault. I went to a local Pug mechanic this week to get the light reset. After connecting to Peugeot planet the knee airbag showed a fault. He said it should retest itself anyway. I guess he forgot to mention that as he was in need of the #20 i had to pay him. He said i must have got the wires crossed over. I came home and swapped them, but still have the fault. I tried disconnecting and connecting the battery the battery but still joy.
Can anybody advise/help please?:thumb:

Faults which have been fixed usually clear after three engine cycles.

You may have inadvertently triggered the airbag ECU and might need to get it reset. £25 from Ebay.
