Hello everyone,

I bought peugeot 308, there's one problem with remote unlocking/locking, I tried changing battery, but it still wouldn't worked. So i bought a new key and swapped the main microchip between keys, but now I can't program it, because i don't have customers confidential card, is there any way to get this code?

I searched in google for infomation, if someone could provide this code, but no luck.

Thank you for your answers

P.S
Sorry for bad english.

Hello Efka18,

Did you make the recognition of the key after you have change the battery at the original remote? It will not work unless you do it.
Maybe you don't have to change the key...

Here is how to do it:
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery or in the event of a remote control malfunction, you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your vehicle.
 First of all, use the key in the lock tounlock or lock your vehicle.
 Then, reinitialise the remote control.
If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.

Changing the battery
Reinitialisation Battery .
 Switch off the ignition.
 Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition) .
 Press the closed padlock immediately for a few seconds.
 Switch off the ignition and removethe key from the ignition switch.
The remote control is fully operational again.
If the battery is flat, you are informed by lighting of a warning light, an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display.
 Unclip the casing using a coin at the notch.
 Slide the fl at battery out of its location.
 Slide the new battery into its location observing the original direction.
 Clip the casing.
 Reinitialise the remote control.

If you still need to change the key, you should find a Peugeot dealer

Some models are not supplied with a card and the dealer will provide free of charge on production of V5 and ID.

Other than that the charge the last time i looked in servicebox was £25 for a replacement card only
