Hi all,

I've just noticed a cable hanging down behind the clutch. Felt the pedal on it every time I put the clutch down. Got home popped a torch up there and it looked to be some kind of small black box with a switch that pushes in. From googling it I've identified it as the clutch pedal switch.
I've tucked it out the way and the car still drives? What's its purpose? Is it safe to drive. Taking it down to Peugeot in the morning.

Thanks,

Matt

I can think of two functions in could perform. When the pedal is depressed it sends a signal to start the engine if you have S&S and to disengage cruise control.
