Hi all,

I am looking for some advice. Whilst parked on a residential street, some charmer decided to kick my passenger side wing mirror off of my 53 plate Peugeot 307.

I have still got the wing mirror as it was hanging off by the electric cable. I therefore still have the colour coded blue part. I have now ordered a used electric wing mirror from a scrappy however it has a gold colour coded back plate.

I have been told that it is possible to click off the gold back plate and click back on my original blue coloured one - I was just wondering if anyone here has any advice on how this is done.

Many thanks.

S.

Many thanks for your reply. I am new to all of this car stuff, what do you mean by lungs?

And how do I pull the plastic off, is it attached by clips or adhesive?

Can't rememeber if its under left or right side of glass, but there is two metal prongs, you unclip them and glass comes off. Once you've seen how it looks you'll understand.
