Hi

I'm looking to remove the passenger seat in my peugoet 307 hatchback as I am looking to convert it into a private ambulance which will include a veneered deck from rear to front.

Any idea how I can remove the passenger seat, and will this effect my MOT?

Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum :thumb:

Do you not think buying a van to convert would be a better idea? Dont imagine it would affect the mot but you would be advised to contact dvla etc, also think your insurance would have a few things to say about it as well.

Removing the seat is easy there are 4 bolts that hold the seat subframe in place, undo them buy sliding the seat forward and back to aid access, tilt the seat back and un clip any electrical fittings, airbag sensor etc, this will light the warning light on the dash for the airbag as the ecu will assume you have a fault.
