hi i have a PEUGEOT 307 DIGITAL CLOCK No 9652809977 d00 its fine at night when cool but when ever the unit gets hot in sun it starts to break up and then dim so unreadable is there a fix for this or just get a new one thanks.

Mine does it too. I've seen it a lot on the 407 but never the 307. Glad to see I'm not alone.

You can get them on Ebay and from scrappies for about £15. I'd probably see if the scrappy will do a trade on the old one - after all it still works to a degree.

There was a fix for the 407 going around a while back, I'll see if I can dig out the info. It might be easier on the 307 with the screen being smaller.

That won't help. Mine goes after sitting in the sun in the work's car park.

There's something you can do with the film on the back of the display and using a heat gun. It might have been on 407 owners though.

bought a replacement of ebay all sorted had to activate trip counter with pplanet but at £9.99 not too bad.
Wife not happy she keeps finding faults as its her car and wants a new one:mad:
