Hi everyone,

I just bought a 307 cc 2.0 143hp with the EW10A engine.

The car is behaving strangely, few days ago I was in a traffic jam and suddernly I received an alert saying ESP/ABS off followed by Antipollution Faulty and the engine light on followed by the engine starts trembling...:(

I restarted the engine and there was again Antipollution Faulty, I bought a diagbox to analyse the diagbox says P1336 "Combustion misfiring on unspecified cylinders fault" so I erased the fault and everything seems to be okay until this morning same thing again ESP, antipollution and trembling engine.

Once the error erased, my peugeot diagbox didn't give any fault...

I changed the sparks (bosch), coil pack (NGK) and cleaned the throttle...

Can someone help me?

EW10 is never a terribly smooth engine and missfires are common causing low idle

The low idle speed then causes a voltage drop and THIS is why you are getting ABS/ESP antipollution warnings as the low voltage upsets the ABS computer the missfire upsets the engine ECU.

The actual cause can be very hard to pinpoint.

Hi thanks for your answer today the car is ok but may be tomorrow I am going to have the same probleme sometime the car will work for 5 days without any issue... Can we do something for the idle problem? Do you have an idea? I was thinking probably the injectors ? What do you think I am going to get them change this friday...

Hi had the Oil and Oil filter changed like 1 month ago ( common maintenance)... Heard that it might be the Lambda sensors what do you think?

Hello air filter also was changed... The guy did not changed the injectors finally, he reinitialised the throttle valve... But today same problem again " antipollution faulty" and engine light on... I do not know what to do now?? I have absolutely no idea here detail of the fault if you can help me
