Hi, I'm a new-comer to this forum, so please be gentle with me! I have a Peugeot 307 SW 2.0HDI on an 03 plate that has developed DPF/FAP problems. The engine management light comes on, the dash reads 'UNBLOCK DIESEL FILTER', within a few seconds the dash reads 'ANTIPOLUTION FAULT', the car then goes into 'limp mode' & won't rev over approximately x2500 revs. I understand this quite a common fault. I have tried driving at high revs for 20 minutes to engage the 'regeneration cycle' but this has not worked. Can the DPF/FAP be removed, the ECU remapped to remove the DPF/FAP (& possibly a 'stage 1' remap to increase power?). Is it possible to do the remap yourself? If not what are the best options available as I only do relatively short journeys so the DPF/FAP is a pain in the...:)

You need to get a diagnostic done on planet first to find out why it has blocked.
Driving at high revs is only going to make it worse and possibly damage the turbo if it is blocked. How did you rev it high in limp mode?

By the questions you are asking no you cant remap it yourself you need to find a specialist that can do it for you.

Oh and stop using the car you will make it worse and do more damage.
