Hi guys,

I own Peugeot 307, make 2002, 2.0 16v petrol, with approx. 70,000 miles. Now, I have a problem when starting a car. When the engine is completely cold, it starts like a charm, but if you press the accelerator pedal the engine chokes. If I keep the revs around 1,800 it gradually drops to maybe 5-600 and feels like it will shut down. This occurs till the engine warms up a bit. But when the engine is warm (ie. 30-40 minutes after shutting it down) I have a difficulty starting it.

Diagnostics does not show any faults. I've tried to change spark plugs, injectors, but no improvement. Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause???

Hi,

My daughter is having exactly the same problems as you. Did you ever find what caused it.

I have posted on a couple of forums but so far no suggestions other than the diagnostic route but we are currently in the middle of the bank holiday weekend so everywhere is shut.
