I have a Peugeot 307 1.6HDi which the clutch is heavy to push down it works fine I do not get any slipping it is just as I say heavy anyone got any ideas on how to fix this or would it require a new clutch.

What year and BHP? If its a facelift 110 model then that should be nice and light.

Hi it is a 307 estate sw 2006 90 BHP

Just to add, I also have the same thing with my 308sw 2.0 diesel. The clutch does the job but you do have to push down relatively hard on the clutch.

I've also noted that the steering seams heavy, not sure if its how its supposed to be but was quite surprised on the test drive

our '06 1.6/90 has a delightful clutch; sounds like there's something up with the OPs.
