Hi

This is the first time the car has done this.

I was out washing the cars yesterday, So i started my wifes 307 and moved it about 10 feet then proceeded to hand wash the car and left it at that until today when my wife went out to start the car it just turns over with out any hint of wanting to fire up.

The battery seems healthy when turning over.

I can here the pump prime also so i guess its getting fuel, i tried a little easy start and that didn't make a difference either

With the ignition on the engine management light remains illuminated after it's initial checks, is that the norm until the engine starts then goes out?

I'm inclined to believe that you should hear an beeping if the keys are in the ignition when the drivers door is open, which it don't.

I followed procedure to reboot the BSI and it didn't make the slightest of difference.

Is is possible the transponder code has been lost or failed?

The central locking still works with the fob though.

I only have one working key!

I will check for spark tomorrow.

Any help on what i should be looking at besides the above

Thanks.

No beep no start the codes are easily lost for no reason

Rebooting the BSI wont fix it if codes are lost this only fixes some faults

Immobiliser and remote locking are totally separate parts just because it still locks does not mean the key is ok

Sounds like keys need recoded OR a wiring issue/fuse

Start from basics, check out every fuse inside car and under the bonnet, using a tester preferably (sometimes they can be tricky).

You can program key if have pp2000 but don't know procedure, do a search in the forum, I think there is a thread over there...

To get 4 digit code, contact user bettyswollocks,he can get it for a nominal fee.

Hope it helps, erick
