My 207 1.4 16v (2007) is playing up.

It was becoming sluggish and using more fuel so I did an error code check and it came up with P0170 (Fuel trim) and P0130 (O2 sensor)

Purchased and fitted a new O2 sensor and cleared the codes. Since then I have had another P0170 code, followed by a P0132 code (O2 sensor high voltage). The voltage readings seem OK to be though and are fluctuating nicely, but car is sometimes sluggish when cold.

Has anyone experienced this before? What should I be looking at next?

When cold O2 sensor would not be in use ecu does not go closed loop till fully warmed up so its unlikely the sensor is the problem merely a symptom there are 2 O2 sensors though and both need to work for closed loop operation.

Poor flow through injectors could also be the issue.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

The code reader said "bank 1 sensor 1" which is the one *before* the CAT, right? How can I check the injectors?

I have seen a number of posts from people with same/similar issues but no one has posted a definitive solution.

A few people have alluded to a software update being needed from Peugeot, but Peugeot want £100 just to do a scan to see if an ECU update is required - they apparently can't determine it from the chassis number (don't they keep records?!). They might take the cash and say "Nah, no update needed" or "we don't know".

Is there a cheaper way to determine if an update is applicable? I don't mind paying £100 if it results in a diagnosis...if I found someone with Peugeot Planet, would that tell me if an update was needed (I realise only dealerships can download the actual update)

In my opinion IF a software update is needed then it should be free as its a problem with the system they ALREADY sold you !

As for fixing your issue i doubt it in all honesty
