The car originally stopped in the first place, would turn over but popping and banging as if the timing was out, checked everything, then sent ECU away as a last result, came back 2 faults but now ok all voltages and setting ok. Put it on car runs ok.
The ECU has 3 plugs on top, we are going to talk about the plug nearest the front of the car. The car runs for an hour, then cuts out with similar faults, but if you remove the plug on the ECU it has some sort of corrosive material oily looking floating on the pins which stops the car, its turning the pins green, wires are all sticky to touch as if the fluid is coming from the wires. Any ideas to what this chemical reactions is.
Cleaned the wires with the electrical spray then nice and dry but comes back again.

Would anyone know where these 2 wires from the ECU goes please, small plug at the front.

There is an issue with coolant sensors on some 207 models. The sensor allows coolant to travel up wire to ecu. There are a few threads on here about it and the repair costs ecu and harness etc
