Hi.I left my car to made valve clearance adjustments to my Peugeot 206 . I asked what the values he made and repairman told me what is wrong?Who told you something? And he told the values at the end
inlet: 0,15mm
Outlet: 0,20mm
I think my car can run better.Especially when hot
Are they very bad values?I told him it is not the suitable values(my car is 206 automatic 1,4 8 valve).Especially outlet seems not suitable.
But this stup.d told me he is making same adjustments to all cars and everything is ok
What can i do?They do not want to make it again without additioanal money. Thanks

According to Peugeot Servicebox, your clearances should be:

inlet: Min 0.15mm, max 0.20mm

Exhaust: min 0.35mm, max 0.40mm

Your exhaust clearance is definitely too tight according to these specs. You need to get them set properly as tight valve clearances can cause severe issues [burned valves, bent valves etc.]

I would recommend finding another garage/mechanic if you can as this one seems to be full of it! But make him correct his errors before you tell him off.
