Hi, new at this.
My husbands car 307 has to go but we would link to see if we could swap the tyres form his to my 1007.Just wondering if anyone would be able to let me know if it will be ok to swap my 15" tyres for 16" alloys (205)
Thank you

I think that the size of the tyres (on the rims) are needed in order to give you a meaningful answer as to whether it is an advisable swap. Basically if the rolling circumference is the same then it is ok. If it is larger or smaller it will affect your speedo readings.

Hi
Thank you for your reply. Here we go:
1007 has 185/60r15 -88t
307 205/55 r16-91t
I'd like to put the 16"alloys on the 1007 but not sure if it is possible
Thank you

I am no expert but providing the rims bolt up correctly to the hub then according to

TRC Calculator

your 'new' tyres are larger so your speedo will read slow. But as virtually all cars speedos read slow this would in effect make your speedo more accurate. But you would need to make sure by using a good satnav to test your speedo readings.
