Peugeot 407 SW 54 reg. Original problem with the car at the weekend was EGR Valve, breakdown company cleaned valve and advised I could continue my journey. After travelling a further 100 miles, experienced the same problem again but also with the low oil pressure warning light coming on! Car is now at garage who have advised me today that the turbo has gone which will cost approx. £1000 to repair!! Has the first fault caused the second fault and therefore should I NOT have been advised to continue my journey by the breakdown company and hence may have been able to prevent such a serious problem?
