I'm looking to remove and replace the passenger seat on my 2003 307 2.0 HDi Estate. I have the correct Torx key and the bolts will undo OK but it feels like one of the nuts is free underneath the floor and I can't access it from beneath the car. I fear that if I undo it the nut will drop into the floor pan cavity and I'll never be able to refit the seat.

Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm doing this because the passenger door has deadlocked and won't open. I've managed to remove all but the foremost door panel screw and hope to peel back the panel to get in and crack the lock. I can only do this with the passenger seat out.

There doesn't seem to be any side air bag in the seat but I'll disconnect the battery anyway.
