Purchased a 307 HDI 1.4 Diesel following a nasty crash a few weeks ago, airbags saved me broken bones and apparently the wife could have been seriously injured were it not for her airbag.

AIRBAGS ARE IMPORTANT TO US!

the pass airbag is switched to the on position in centre console but every 30miles or so I get a warning light on my dash saying its disengaged.

I can switch it off and on again and the light disappears but light up again after 30 miles or so.

I really really really don't want my missus to die the next time a drunk driver decides to pull out in front of me while i'm doing 60mph.

will her air bag go off if the switch is turned to "on" but the warning light says "off"???????

When i bought my 307 and it had an battery that was on it's last legs, i would sometimes get the airbag warning light. Is your battery in good condition?

It could be that the switch is faulty, I know mine is. I sometimes have to switch mine on and off a few times to get rid of the warning. It can work for weeks without showing a fault.
