Hi,
Does anyone know if parts are available anywhere for the 2.2 HDi.

I am looking for the gears for the throttle body.

I can see the whole body is available but interested to see if I can buy just the plastic gears.

There are at least 4 2.2 hdi engines over the years all with different set ups it would be best if you are more specific but the answer is most likely the gears wont be available unless its a common fail point and the aftermarket are making them.

The engine is from a 2011 4007 HDi

The throttle body is a:

PIERBURG
Code: 7.01002.09.0

I have a P2111 code, on inspection the throttle plate which is normally in
the open position shows a slight stick while closing, the car runs fine but
when the car is turned on the throttle plate carries out the close/open trick and throws the code.
Also when I push the butterfly shut it shows a sticky spot about half way closed.

Seems a shame to buy a new complete body for a gear I believe is changeable in other makes.

New throttle body fitted

Quick update, new throttle body now fitted, all fixed, after removal I inspected the old throttle body and found oil contamination on the TPS sensors. interestingly the butterfly valve also jammed on the replacement. I think the gearing has problems running in reverse direction than intended.
