I am converting Partner 750 S L2 HDI to one person mico camper van.

Need to pick up directly from battery to connect to leisure batteries charger unit, so not to upset on board electronics controller.

How do I get the wires from the battery into the cab? Do I have to remove n/s glove box?

Thanks Guys

What size cables do you need to connect to the charger unit. If they are normal size flexible cables you may be able to squeeze them alonside an existing loom coming into the cab. It may well be easier to see where they enter the cab from the engine bay. Once you have a point of reference you can then best figure out where they enter from the cab side. Failing that it would probably be best to lie on the floor of the cab in the footwells with a torch and see if you find a suitable entry point.

Hi John.

I know it's a couple of years ago now but I wondered how you got on?

I'm turning my Partner Origins MPV to micro-camper. My model has the nice addition of lidded storage in floor where back seated passengers would be - makes ideal space for a leisure battery - so will need to thread 10 mm (approx) width cable to feed this.

Check the rear harness for a tow bar connector some are fitted to the loom and have a 12v feed wired to the connector for caravan battery charging etc. If not i have added power leads on a few peugeots and found the bonnet release cable grommet a good route in to the cabin for cables

I can't help with the wiring numbers as i can't find any listed in Sedre so it's possible they do not fit a towbar connector.

If there is one fitted it normally has one thick cable which is aux power for caravan etc
