Hi, l have problem in going into limp mode and loss of power each time the engine warms up a few yards down the road.It seem to reset itself over night,and begin all over again.
l have changed;
glow plugs and heater box
temperature coolant senor
mass air flow sensor
recondition fuel injectors
sent ECU away to check

Already spend a fortune in and out the garage

Can any shed some light?

It has come up with 4 faults;

1, intermittent fault-inlet air temperature singnal short to + or open cirrcuit

2,permanant fault 2 additionl heating short circuit between 2 wires or open circiut

3, permanant fault prepost heatint replay coherence

4, permanant fault 1 additional heating short circuit between 2 wires or open circuit

these were given to me by peugoet dealer, when they dianose it and charged me £95 for 1 hour

They said quote; It could be a mechanical fault eg injectors but Not 100%:eek:
only 70% it could be.So even the big boys cannot sort this out.

Looks to me its an emmission problem that the ECU dont like and therefore shuts it down to limp mode to protectect the engine or so it thinks.

it is not permanent but an intermittant fault that comes on when engine warms.

Sounds like a wiring problem.
Also remove the fuel filter, is there metal filings in the bottom of the fuel bowl?
