Hi all

I checked up on the part for the under engine cover which was 7013ke which looks a different shape to all the others I seem to come across which are 7013ez.

Was the under engine cover changed on the 407 sw 2010 model.

Thanks in advance for any help

"2010 model" is too vague. Seven different engines with 13 total variations.
Changes arise in different factories at different times. The only way to be sure what part fits your car is by the VIN. If you post the last eight digits, we can look it up.

Hi sorry I wasn’t very clear with my original post after reading it back through.
My vin is AL024468 I did a search and it came back as 7013ke which when I search shows a cover for 508 engine cover with out the wings, and when I do a search for a 407 the part number is 7013ez which does have the wings.

My question really is did they change the cover on the later 407 even the service box shows the wings on the cover but gives a part number 7013ke, but when you search that part number it shows a cover with out wings, :thumb:

Thank you, what’s confusing me is the servicebox shows the same part number but the picture look completely different on both pictures you have provided.

Maybe have to stump up the £165 to the stealers at least will have some recourse if it doesn’t fit unlike the Ebay ones

As regards the 508, there is an alternative 7013 KG from RPO (factory date code) 12474, and the drawing is probably depicting that one.

For your car, there is no alternative, so you can rely on that drawing.

I would agree how likely would you think servicebox would stay the wrong part number thank you by the way
As above i think i would trust servicebox over an ebay listing..

anytime i have phoned the stealers for a price using a servicebox part number its been right 100% of the time
