Hi

I have a 3008 1.6 THP from 2010.
I randomly gets warning that Parking brake fault, ABS/ESP Fault etc.
If i stop the car and turns of the engine, the error is gone when i start it again (or when i drive away again).
I tired to read out fault code whit my elm237 but I'm not getting any.
I gues that it may be one of the ABS sensor that is making this problem

Anyone else here that have experien this with your car?
Tip on what it can be thats i making this warnings etc?

Has this exact problem, took it to the garage and they said it was the Brake Switch

The garage fitted ours but I bet someone more handy could fit replace it themselves.

I was very relieved it was this as it was a cheap fix!

Hi, I faced the same problem with my car while the odometer was at 97K kilometers. I kept ignoring the message for 3000 more kilometers. Then all of a sudden car stalled in the middle of the road which was embarrassing. I brought the car to dealership, after checking the car they had to replace Tappet Head Gasket and Fuel Pump after which the problem was solved.

Your car stopping and needing all those parts sounds more like the pump failed or chain jumped teeth it was NOT the same issue !!

The warning messages and lights are there for a reason. Doing what you dis is for the car no different to not seeing a doctor if you started coughing up blood. Ignoring the warnings can only make things worse if ignored for long enough.
