Has anyone tried the park assist, just wondered is it parallel or perpendicular or both as some other systems out there ?

My dealer set up a few cars for me when I was test driving. Tested the park assist numerous times and it didn't fail once, hence why I ordered it. Well worth the extra imho.

As well as perpendicular and parallel parking, it also does parking space departure, so will get you out of a really tight space without making contact with the cars in front or behind. It's great, because it will let you get considerably closer than you would if trying to judge distances from the drivers seat.

True although potentially puts your car at more risk of being hit by the cars you've just parked extra close to who don't have park assist.
